Why isn’t it a question worth asking?
Because the CEO of a public company shouldn't throw crap at a political leader of any stripe. Were he to comment on Melania possibly being a paid escort (as likely as the other speculation) you'd probably protest. [Not germane, but FTX's Ryan Salame gave $20 million to the GOP.]

Especially a CEO who's entire justification for taking over a social media platform was to open it to the long-oppressed "centrists" who wanted a place for calm, well reasoned debate free from political extremism. Ahem.

You can ask that specific questions of course. But an independent person with no biases would not ask that. Just a person who is deeply sided with one party. Because simply put, FTX and related people clearly gave large amounts to BOTH parties.

Musk continues to alienate one side politically with almost no upside, while claiming to be fair and independent.

I think Elon is perfect proof that no amount of smart can protect you from falling down a conspiracy rabbit hole.

I've seen it happen to friends who are otherwise excellent well educated people. Out of the blue they come to me with a BS claim about vaccines modifying DNA. Since they're educated, I'm excited because I should be able to reason with them. I pull up the paper they reference, and read it fully. I point to where it absolutely contradicts what they claimed it said. There's a pause. Their eyes glaze over, and they simply move to a different claim. Utterly unaffected by the evidence they themselves brought forward.

It was... depressing.

I think Elon actually believes he's being a moderate centrist and paragon of reasonable while posting total BS. It's sad to see one of the most gifted minds for engineering be so broken elsewhere. I hope his sense of iterating-on-the-evidence pulls him out of the hole he's in - he's already utterly abandoned free-speech-absolutism so that's a positive move. We shall have to see what comes next.

Yes you would aka free speech can have consequences. Just like getting suspended/banned etc from a private social media company is a consequence of spewing vile hate speech, misinformation, and inciting people towards violence.
I've said this a number of times. This whole facade of "free speech" is to "own the libs". He is not concerned about people getting silenced because they are talking about CIA machinations in Venezuela.

In other news, Elon doesn't like phone as ID.

I don't see Biden in that tweet. Don't make up stuff ... there is enough fake news going around, already.
Biden is the one giving the money to Ukraine who is giving it to FTX who is giving it to candidates. You need to keep up on your conspiracies. Given all the folks Elon responds to these days it’s definitely all over his timeline.

Elon?
