FWIW a ~ 3yr employee told me they will get a Model 3 in about a month.
Yes this sound about right if they opted for first production models or even the SR version.....about a 1-3 months before the first non employee (current tesla owner) will get one.
AWD though is closer to April for employees
employees still can't order the standard version. My employee contact has a delivery estimate for this month till November for his near loaded 3
The father of an employee just received his Model 3 last night!
Yeah there are a few pics over in his thread on the M3OC forum.
The employee's seniority (~3 years) probably has less to do with his place in line than his geographic location and desire to buy "First Production".
A close friend told me that he saw 6 copies of the Model 3 on a truck heading Eastbound on I-40 outside of Russellville, AR.
And a friend of mine who was a relatively new Solar City employee (< 1yr) at the time of the merger, will be taking delivery of a Model 3 in about a week.
He got an update from a sales rep that it should be in 2 weeks or less. Ramp up!
I am, and Im getting early Dec time frame.
You probably just caused a bunch of people to have heart attacks Guessing standard battery and/or non-premium interior?
Is this for the Model 3 standard range or long range?
Any updates on this?
Nope. I've been traveling. I'll check tomorrow and see what day.
So was able to talk to him on Sept 30. This was before the announced delay. He told me his car was delayed (and wasn't sure when it would come), and I didn't think anything of it to report it. doh.
