My point is that it might be in the best interest of the manufacturer to only report the 2-cycle result if the adjusted-2-cycle is a "more appealing" result then the actual-5-cycle.As for which number to use on the sticker, I don't have a direct source, but I assume if the EPA received the 5-cycle numbers already, they would use it, since it would be more accurate than the multiplier (which is just an estimate).
