4 weeks and already had a charge port door failed on me, so as you can imagine, not exactly feeling the ElonsHow old is your car? it used to be a big deal in 2019 but I thought things had improved?
However, the Police might not ignore it… several owners have been pulled over for condensation in rear lights. It is an offence If the lamps are sufficiently obscuredAll my Tesla’s have done this. They will only replace if it turns to liquid and fills up. Condensation on its own they will ignore.
I'm afraid, if they don't replace them, they can keep the car. The whole car has a distinct "made in China" feel about it. The more time I spend with the car, the more I see the lack of quality throughout. My concern here is that even if they do replace, it's not going to go away, for reasons commented on above. That said, I have had several other cars with LED bulbs that did not have this problem. Apart from affecting functionality, it looks horrible. They will only replace if it turns to liquid and fills up. Condensation on its own they will ignore.
Who's going to tell him?The whole car has a distinct "made in China" feel about it.

Ha Ha! Very true. But the days of made in China meaning crap are long gone now... Your TV's made in China, along with your phone, laptop, headphones, bike, kettle, and pretty much anything else... and a lot of the components in German made cars are made in China!Who's going to tell him?
MB is hardly the pinnacle of quality these days so just because they do it doesn't mean we should accept it. I see more MBs with LED segments out on the rear end of cars than any other manufacturer. It is a problem with LED lights across a range of brands. SWMBO's Mercedes does it. , insufficient heat to shift the condensation.
What's next? Heared light covers?
Samsung would like a word....Ha Ha! Very true. But the days of made in China meaning crap are long gone now... Your TV's made in China, along with your phone, laptop, headphones, bike, kettle, and pretty much anything else... and a lot of the components in German made cars are made in China!
My rear light clusters got a small bit of misting, I asked them to replace under warranty and they did. No issues since. All my Tesla’s have done this. They will only replace if it turns to liquid and fills up. Condensation on its own they will ignore.
