find location of car

I got a police report that someone reported my card (lic plate) in a hit and run - 2hrs away from me.. is not me..
how can I prove that my car was in location A during that day ? 2016 model S

Any chance that you charged the car during the day? If so, and you're on a new enough software build, you should have a charging record in your app under Charge Stats. That only shows date I believe, not a timestamp, but if it's at least at our home, that's a start. Beyond that, unless you are using some for of 3rd party app or logger program to capture your gps location real time to create driving logs, not sure there is much I can offer.

Cameras at home? Can easily find the car on the date you want that being the case.

Did the person filing the report submit a description of the car? If it wasn’t the same as yours, you should be off the hook.

Or cameras from neighbors, businesses, etc. if necessary. Ask them for help.

Check for cameras around the suspected incident site that might have a video record of the real car.

no camera's at home.. car sat on the drive way connected to a 110v port.. (like it has been for so many days before and after)
no camera's at neighbors that keep record - but will check
the office - gave my plate - and I think with a plate you can look up the car.. but they didn't know the color etc.
it' a fraud - but the office is asking for proof..

Depending on how long ago, Tesla may have data.

An examination would also show no damage to your car. Depending on what was claimed.

If your car connects to your home wi-fi, you may have an IP log within your router for the time in question.
