First 60kWH delivery notice or email - who will it be?

Thanks to my super Product Specialist (Andy V) and Delivery Specialist (John S), received the Final MVPA via DocuSign earlier this afternoon!

- Docu-signed it and fired it back rightaway to Andy (who's apparently working on Sunday as well!)
- Initiated a wire transfer of the small balance of the downpayment (owing to the 0.25% increase in CA sales tax on Jan 1st) to Tesla.
- Fired off an email to PenFed (will follow up tomorrow on the phone) with the Final MVPA PDF attached.

The Final MVPA has an approximate delivery date of 01/19/2013! That's next Saturday! Not sure if it'll hold but, I hope PenFed gets their check out to me in time!

My wife and I find all this to be unreal after a long and arduous wait

VIN assigned over the weekend - today was reported to be in burn-in and final test

Received call from Lauren (delivery experience specialist) a few minutes ago that my 60kWH S is ready for pickup starting this Wed! Now just need to decide a factory pickup day and time. Wooohoo! A VIN is still not showing up on my TM dashboard. She provided my VIN over the phone.

Congrats! I'm confused why some people report getting a VIN right after body-in-white while others get their vin just a few days before delivery. Just another kink in the whole delivery process that needs to be ironed out I guess.

Thanks, guys! My DS (John Scalmanini) confirmed this morning that the estimate's going to hold and that I'm on for factory delivery at 1 pm on Saturday, 01/19.

Called PenFed (after faxing over the final MVPA) and got them to send out the check overnight (they pulled $15 from another account of mine via ACH to pay for it). Btw, they auto-added GAP insurance for $349.

All set!

Kip, I suspect that, VIN notification arbitrariness apart, they are queuing up production and deliveries based on when we all finalized?! That may explain you being slotted behind me. In any case, almost there...

Given the 2-2.5 hour commitment, my wife decided to keep the kid home (and arrange a playdate) while I take a couple of friends along. The weather's looking good thankfully!

Just got VIN#3737, was told to expect delivery closer to end of window which is 2/4. I'm taking delivery at the Seattle service center.

Yeah I guess with my change to leather my finalize date was actually Nov 16, so I have a bit longer to wait.

I called last Friday - no Vin yet, but called again this Monday and they had a VIN so I guess it got issued in over the weekend. Not sure if these are issued every day or perhaps batched on specific days. With a res number of 236 I though I'd be one of the first, and if it gets delivered this week, I won't be complaining. Actually I really won't be complaining if it's next week either, but after four years, I'm counting the minutes.
