Front dash scratches

Yeah that might be why. I think the materials changed sometime between then and early 2019. My friend’s 3P+ bought in October 2018 has a completely different feeling dash than mine bought in May 2019.

To anyone who had Tesla replace their dash pad ---- any issues after, rattles, etc?

Procedure is quite invasive but being that the car is so modular I would think it will help to reduce issues after. Thanks.

I did wonder this. I still can’t believe how invasive the process is. I’d have thought remove wood/white dash part (which is just clips) and then just a few more clips and the top part would lift out. Clearly NOT the case.

Tesla wanted to charge me $1000CAD to replace mine... the 303 Aero worked better lol

Yes, mine was replaced under warranty. May 2018 build.

Do you happen to have a copy of the invoice stating it was replaced under warranty? Does anyone else have a copy?
