Front fog and rear fog buttons disabled

Hi all, I just received my Tesla M3 LR and ever since I got it, the buttons for the front fog and rear fog are disabled. I tried running all the updates and still the same.

I’m thinking about calling the service but maybe it’s just a quick fix I don’t know about.

Is it?

Have you tried tapping them (I ask because you are a self-professed newbie)?

Icons that are gray aren't disabled in this interface as they are in Windows or Mac. If you tap the icon, it should turn blue (defrost with AC). Tap it again and it goes red (defrost with heat). Once more and it goes back to gray.

It wasn't that, the buttons were just not 'tappable'. I ended up having to call Tesla Service and they delivered an over the air update within 30 minutes and fixed the issue.

Teslas poor quality control? Super cool that it can be activated virtually/digitally but the fact that it wasn't speaks poorly

Also I'm jealous of your rear fog

I have the front fogs only on my Canadian delivered m3LR. I had a BMW that had rear fogs but you had to remove a bit of plastic behind the unlabeled button. I wonder if in fact we do have rear fogs but they are just not programed on the GUI.
