FSD is $3000

I check FSD price frequently and I see that it's $3000 now. I missed when it was down to $2000 and considering it. It has been $6000 for a few months after that discount. Any news about it? Were there any news or announcements about it ?

Lol. Will you be able to send me software updates that will detect stops and traffic lights? I do not expect FSD as a feature for a long time but incremental updates for driver assistance interests me.

Tesla slashes price of 'Full Self-Driving' package upgrade for owners with Enhanced Autopilot - Electrek

It should stay $3,000 under whatever the current transaction price is for people that didn’t originally buy EAP. Note this isn’t really a discount, just charging you the same that everyone else paid in total.

As always, “should” and Tesla have a tenuous relationship at best, and if you’re swigging the Elon koolaid the FSD price will rise again sometime this month, so if you’re thinking you really want to buy it now is probably the time.

As for me, I’ll pass, but YMMV.

The link only shows up under the account. If I log off and go to the link where I can buy it it asks for credentials.

When you click manage for your car what does it show? It's there for me and if I give you the link you won't see it. It's a specific link for my account/car. I will message it to you so you can check.

I wonder why Tesla has the link for some people in their account and others nothing. I paid $5,000k for EAP in June of 18 and I've never seen anything under "Manage" my account related to FSD upgrade.

Better do it before August 14, price will go up $1000 according to Elon's tweet. I just got my Model S from a 3rd party dealership. So annoying that I can't do nothing because it is not linked to my account. I heard from others it can take awhile after I sent Tesla all the required information to link it. Hopefully it will be done by then.

I have EAP+FSB on my S, but only EAP on my X. FSD is available for $3000 under "manage" in my account.

But I also just got an email from Tesla saying the price of FSB will increase on Aug 16.
