VIN# for my Red/White Plaid! Finally! It's been a rough 3 months with Red/Black Plaid 😏 I'm gonna keep both for a few weeks just to confuse my neighbors.

Darn! No email and I hit 100 Friday at 3PM... I had over 500 miles and perfect score every day except the first day, but that was 10 days ago. Hopefully they are coming in small waves like he said, but he did say that "Everyone" with a perfect score on Friday would get it.

I'm pretty sure the code has been written already to send to all cars who have a 100 score. Would be a lot more work for them to segment that up.

As of 2020, Tesla starts the next model year in October. My model Y was delivered October 17th of 2020 and is a 2021 model year. This is new, the year before they started it January 1st.

Dude. That sucks! That is like waking up xmas morning and finding Santa dead with no toys. Maybe they can fix it there. But If they can’t, they will probably assign you a new VIN and the process of waiting and logistics are terrible these days. Keep us posted!!

I purchased a model Y about 9 months ago and used a personal check to pay. I asked if that was ok for the Plaid and they said no personal check but cashiers check is fine.

What kind of issues?? Did you pay before you picked it up? If so, that’s another reason not to pre-pay and just bring a cashiers check

Ordered 1/27 the Trifecta of screwed overness: Red/White/CF EST delivery November 25- December 15th. Luckily I have a Red, Black Woody coming next week! But I will sell it when this baby comes in. Can't beat Tesla White interiors! I guess I'll survive a few months with this crummy black. lol

You really should check Progressive, only $150 more every 6 month for my Plaid versus my 2018 75D. I’d say that’s a win! Also check Geico! Allstate, State Farm are the worst!

Here is my order timeline.. I really think its just Tesla making the extra $10K.. Clear and simple.

I got a VIN on August 3rd. I got the please make final payment email that day also, my delivery time frame is August 10-16th, so today through next week and yesterday I got a text asking if I wanted to trade in my current Model S. Still no ETA on actual delivery... Would think soon??

After seeing what people are paying for Plaids for sale on different channels, one could probably buy their 2nd choice, drive around for a month and sell for price of new! Its a crazy used market out there!

Tesla did say that whoever ordered a Model S before the January refresh announcement would receive their cars first, which is mainly holding true, give or take.
