FSD just increased price

FSD option in tesla website for my model 3 SR+ just increased $1300CAD from $9200 to $10500. Looks like it is getting further and further away from me now.

I was under the impression that it would be going up on the 10th. I couldn't get clarification on the actual date of the price increase, which hits hard since I figured that I would have a bit more time to make a decision, based on the last tweet about the price increase.

Yeah, I’m holding out for some sort of sale in the future. $5-6k range and I’d take it.

I don't know who Tesla expects to buy in at this price. I get that they want to drive people into adding it on during configuration, but I would be shocked to hear that many people are jumping on at $8k after delivery.

I don't think folks that got EAP will see FSD as worth the money until City NoA is released.

It doesn't make sense to me that they would constantly increase the price as they add features. You can be pretty sure the price will come down eventually (probably the hardware update would no longer be included\free). I would not be surprised if FSD eventually becomes free, if you allow your car to be used as a robo taxi for some period of time, and then Tesla will recoup its money that way.

I found my answer.... Advanced summon is part of EAP for early folks.
