FSD price for EAP owners lowered by $1000

Enhanced Autopilot makes our Model X our favorite vehicle for road trips, and the superiority of AP will keep us loyal to Tesla for the foreseeable future. Because of how luxury cars depreciate, we lease our X. But the 3 and Y hold their value, so we will be purchasing a Model 3 in January. And the cost of FSD is absolutely absurd. Particularly for two cars, and when one vehicle is leased for three years. It would be an interesting novelty if I could carry this capability from car-to-car, or if I could get a multi-vehicle subscription. Till then, I can think of a lot I’d rather do with a $20k lump sum.

@5thgear I sure get it. Though I don't see it as merely an "interesting novelty", $20k cash is absurd. That's why it makes sense financed with the original purchase. Tesla's going to have to come up with a better solution for retrofits. But if your X has EAP, adding FSD isn't $10K, is it?
