Gemini wheels- with or without hubcaps?

Are people leaving the hubcaps on or off on the Gemini wheels? If off, then what kits are you using for the center cap and lugnuts?

I took off my hubcaps primarily because of the noise when going at low speeds.

I ordered a center cap kit from evannex since they have silver that should match the color of the wheels. I plan on using the covers for long trips for efficiency, but I don't like the creaking at low speeds that I haven't been able to get rid of

Thanks for posting this. I was curious if they would go with a silver or black cap. I think I will still go with a black set from Amazon, kinda reminds me of my 19" sport wheels on my Model 3. The glossy lug nut covers don't look right too me.

I traded my 3 for a y and kept the caps for the 3.

They fit fine on the y.

I bought a kit from Amazon, it's a dark gray with the RED T and black lug caps. It looms likes nice, but the factory kit still might get my money in the long run, but I'd still fill in the Tesla T in RED.

I also ordered the center cap kit from Evannex, really nice quality. I don’t plan to use the aero hubcaps at all.

As long as there are no clicking noises I plan to keep the hubcaps on.

I'm a nerd I guess. I have always liked the aeros on the 3 (my wife took them off like the second day of ownership), and I like the geminis. I do feel like the tire sidewall is too thick to look good with those thin, split spokes.... but what do I know..

No hubcaps. Dark grey center cap and matte black lug covers. Both since day 1 of ownership, and happy with the look. Reminds me of the early MS wheels, which I've always liked. I also like the contrast of the silver wheels against my blue MY, but to each their own.

No hubcaps except on trips over 250 miles. They are easy enough to put on. I got a silver kit with center hubs and wheel caps from Amazon and threw away the wheel caps. It looks better without them (they look a bit cramped and I never like the wheel cap look anyway… the bolts match the color of the alloy well enough).

I don't mind the hub caps, easy to keep claen, more aero
But Powder coated black does look good

I just received the Tesla Model Y Cap Kit and added the AO Tesla decals.

Very happy with the look and how they fit. Should have cleaned the wheels for the glamor shot. Am on the fence about painting my calipers.

I have my covers on...since I plastidipped them black to have black wheels. When we first had the car, the covers made noise going in low speeds, but that has actually improved a lot after a few months and its much quieter.
