Grantham supercharger experiences?

Just looking for user experiences with the Grantham supercharger. I'll be driving up the A1 in a couple of weeks, on a Friday, arriving at Grantham around lunchtime. Is it generally a busy site? Any gotchas to be wary off?

Grantham is a breeze: easy access, no ANPR, good availability from 16 chargers and motorway-style services on site.

As our friend said, plenty of chargers.

However, IMHO, the building housing the Greggs/Costa etc needs a full refurb. It's like stepping back to the 70s, inside.

I agree with Tony there, services needs a refurb. But the chargers are great, never experienced anything close to busy at them, and no problems either. Have used various positioned stalls there and don't recall any significant speed differences, be interesting to hear of others have.

I used these last week and as others have said they are great. Lots available, easy to find and reliable.

One little tip is they are V2 chargers, so if it's quiet (as it often is) then try to do the charging etiquette thing.

A little quirk of the site layout is there are chargers on both sides of the entrance. The two closest, innermost chargers to your left and right as you drive in, are A & B for the same power supply and one should be avoided if there is a car already charging on the other.
