Looking at trading my standard range Model 3 for a used 2020 Model S Long Range. When inspected the undercarriage I noticed four spots on the four corners of the battery behind the wheels, where some sort of greyish black goop was pasted on. This was very concerning to me until I looked under 3 other Model S between the years 2019 and 2020 and they all had this. So now I’m no longer concerned since it appears to be common at least on these specific models, but still extremely curious why it’s there. Does anyone have any idea?
