Guessing the range of a Model S 100D with 2170 battery cells

    When do you think they'll launch it and what RANGE will this car have?

    I think that a S100D using 2170 cells is at least a couple years away. (Tesla has said that the 2170 cells are going to be used for Tesla Energy and the Model 3.)

    On the other hand a S100D using the 18650 cells, like they are in the SP100D, will likely be available early next year and will have an estimated range of ~341 miles.
