Half-day road trip near the factory?

It seems very likely now that we'll be picking up our 90D either the last Saturday in March or the first in April.
Driving it straight from Fremont to our house in SF seems like a lost opportunity.
Any recommendations for a half-day short road trip where we can enjoy the car - maybe to Santa Cruz or Monterey maybe?

So many places... so little time.
Monterey and Santa Cruz are good. Aquarium in Monterey is superb.
Also, heat North to Bodega Bay or inland to Petaluma, wine country.
If you gave it more time, you could go further north or south along the coast or up to the mountains. Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, etc.

How about a run to the redwoods. Would give you a great chance to check out the giant trees through the panoramic windshield.

At least take skyline Blvd up to the city and drive up great highway and then past legion of honor to presidio.

That's a great idea! I was looking for somewhere to take advantage of that
