Does anyone have experience using an inverter to get AC power from their Tesla? If so, could you tell us about your experience, issues, equipment used?

    Found this:

    recommended power inverter

Didn't seem to have a definitive answer but might point you in the right direction to help choose one...

I use an inverter plugged in to my 12V charger socket. It is just a cheap one I bought from an Auto Electrical store. I read that you shouldn't draw more than 100W as you can blow the fuse. I usually use it to charge my electric shaver.

Thanks for the link, PedanticOne. Should have searched, although I'm hoping someone can recommend a brand and model.

BenT, I'll check on the amperage I need. I looked in the Manual per the referenced thread and the 11 amps/150W continuous.
