How many times have you left the house or work and gotten to your destination only to realize you forgot your cell phone.
Well I have done it many times until a few days back when my Model S reminded me.

Last Wednesday I parked the car while on a Bluetooth call.
Next day I got into the car and was about to drive off to work but the Model S console told me it could not find my phone (most probably because it was on the Cell Phone screen.
I got back out and went and got my phone.

How good a feature this would be if the car always reminded you if it could not detect your phone before you drove off?

AFAIK, all cars with BT do that because they give a "can't connect" warning of some kind. In the Model S, the BT icon stays white.

In my Prius, my reminder was when no music was playing. I never listened to anything other than the music on my phone through the auxiliary port. I'll have to try out this feature. Nice find.
