Based on the 2 threads in TMC (production M3 pics and highest VIN), and 1 thread on M3OC (highest VIN), I've compiled the following VINs that have been sighted, and when they were 1st spotted. I might have missed a few since I didn't click on all the links with images to actual car or the sticker with VIN on them, also I generally trust people's personal accounts without photos.I looked around, but didn't see anything. Has anyone been keeping tally of the VINs we have spotted? I put together a google sheets for it, but got lazy after ticking off a few. If anyone has a good one going, I'll stop. But if not, I can share it and let you all tick them off.

+1 I have only needed a reboot once in over a year. Never for an update.Baloney.
i don't know about anyone else, but i am shocked that we have not set a vin record here in the month of october, especially considering how many vehicle deliveries have been photographed and posted to instagram etc. i have no rational explanation for why a higher vin sighting would not yet have been reported. just seems a long time to go without a new one at this point, compared to the pace at which we saw them rise throughout aug/sep.

How many of those pictures posted have had VINs attached to them? (Most people taking pictures don't care about the VIN, so we don't have much current VIN data right now.)
Well, we can't talk about the "lack" of VIN numbers here, so there is no way to have a discussion about the Instagram pictures and their lack of VIN reporting. You could simply roll down the window and shout to one another if its that important. And most pics are on the road. Hard to catch a VIN at 75mph.
.
I think this may be an opportunity for the first good use of a selfie stick. You could simply roll down the window and shout to one another if its that important.
I haven't seen any news of higher VINs - hopefully it's true but I'll be taking it with a grain of salt.Don't think this is accurate, but saw this on Teslarati: "While it’s still unclear if Tesla has begun to dig itself out of “deep production hell“, recent sightings of Model 3 vehicles bearing VINs in the thousands suggests that the company is starting to step through the ramp portion of its “S-curve”."
Am I missing something? Per the above, I thought we were only at 521.
