HW3 hardware availability

So when do you guys think we should have HW3 to be available for a retrofit into existing cars? I guess it will be after 03/15/2019 ("promised" next update from EM) and before 12/31/2019 (they better do that this year, otherwise there was no point of keeping a promise on 35k$ car ))

Anyone can narrow down the estimate?

HW1 and HW2 were both released with almost no warning. I think HW3 will be the same. Will just be a Tesla blog post (or at most a conference call) some random day in the coming months. The only think we know is that Elon and his inner circle have it now and then Tesla employees will get it next.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Model 3’s coming off the line right now already have the version 3 computer installed.

It's quite possible cars being built now have HW3. Just wait until people find out and create a website to complain about not getting the latest hardware in their 6 mo old car.

Possible, but they'd probably announce it based on past records.

Info only: My 2019 S, build 01/2019 shows APH3 & APPB (EAP). Chat with Tesla yesterday says to receive a software download within 24-48 hrs. I will believe it when I see it.
