I Broke It

Yesterday I picked my P85D (avatar). What a great car. I had the console installed prior to delivery and that fits and looks just right in the car. The charger for my iPhone 6 worked really well until I did a launch. I had the iPhone 6 (not the big iPhone) plugged in and wasn't thinking about it and did my first launch. It didn't even dawn on me that it could be a problem. When I looked down I noticed the phone did not sit against its back rest and thought odd. I did another launch a few minutes later and the phone is now laying on the tray part of the console. It literally ripped out the part of the lightning connector that fits in the phone. It was easy enough to take out but now that I've destroyed the cable I now have to find a new one. It will most likely have to come from Tesla since both ends have right angle connectors.

I had no idea how much G-force a launch can exert. I'm still thrilled.
