They do not exist in inventory cars. :sob: This hereby ends my problems-of-the-privileged post for today.

It's not entirely clear to me what your ordered ("I thought the seats would be air-conditioned like in the Model S"), but they should be ventilated in the Model S if you ordered both the Premium Seats and the Premium Upgrades Package. If you selected both options, I think you need to talk with someone higher-up with Tesla.I picked up my new Model S P100D on Saturday with the Ultra-White Premium Seats. I thought the fabric was going to be perforated and that the seats would be air-conditioned like in the Model S. But that is not the case. My delivery specialist was confused as well. She went away for a moment and came back saying that Tesla formerly offered air-conditioned seats on the Model S, but that it had been discontinued--which made no sense at all to me. Does anyone know if Tesla ever offered A/C seats in the Model S previously? Are they going to be offering it in the future (March 2017?)?
I have the Premium Package. I do not have ventilated seats.
At the time the P100D was released they stated that only the black and tan premium seats would be perforated and ventilated, but then when they released the same seats for the 90D (last month?) they stated all would then be ventilated. There were some rumors that the perforation was causing issues with the vegan leather but they must have figured that out.
Interesting. I'm going to have to send an email to my Sales Advisor to ask why my car didn't get the ventilated seats since it went into production 11.3.2016.

That's odd. I have an AP2 P100D and my seats are ventilated.
You have black seats. The Ultra White were the issue.
So ... what's the difference then, between Next Generation and premium ...
Second thing: The seats are NOT air conditioned unlike other manufacturers. They only blow ambient air, and not very well imho
I found the post when it was changed and it was from Nov 12th... looks like you missed it by a couple weeks.
Your sales person is confused in a few ways, but it's a bit understandable.
Tesla first began offering ultra white in the S only on P100D back in ~August. For a period of time (~6-8 weeks), even if you ordered the premium package, the seats were non-perforated and non-vented, whereas if you ordered black or tan and premium you got ventilated seats. At some point (apologies, I don't have the exact date), Tesla increased the cost of premium (I think $500), and began offering ultra white ventilated seats. There is one report on TMC of someone who just took delivery of their P100D with ultra white and didn't get ventilated seats. I inquired if the car had been built a few months ago, and it turns out they had postponed their build, and as a result had been grandfathered to the previous price book. But this also meant that they ended up with non-ventilated seats, which came as a surprise to them and their DS.
If you order a P100D today (or any S as of last week) and select ultra white and premium, you'll get ventilated seats. Was your car produced a few months ago, by chance? Or did you delay your order?

I think it was summarized as "the ventilated seats suck".I thought it had been said that the ventilated seats suck air in, not blow air out.
