When was the Captcha added to account login?

I noticed a few days ago when Teslamate required a new token (maybe unrelated) and failed with:

Error: :mfa_input_not_found

It was added last week. Self-hosted stuff seems to need to use a refresh token that you can provide (I’m doing that with TeslaScope) - and that seems to work. Phone apps seem to be fine so far.
I just started TeslaMate since I want to keep all data under my control, but like how many features TeslaScope has (and interface is neater than TeslaMate). Do you know where TeslaScope stores all your data? I couldn't find it on Google/their website

Captcha was worked around one way or another but they've changed it again to recaptcha and thats proving an entirely more troublesome thing to work around. The refresh tokens will probably only work until the user changes their password.
