infotainment update price change - now $1750?

So I was chatting with a tech after completing a remote service and asked him about the MCU2 upgrades. He told me those are now $1750 (from memory) - that sucks, I knew I shouldn't have waited! That's without the FM radio.

The price seems to have gone up. $1,750 for AP0/AP1/AP3 vehicles, $2,250 for AP2/AP2.5 vehicles: Infotainment Upgrade

Of course it has been out of stock for months, though I heard it should be in stock any day now...

@wk057 any update on your order? Or did you give up and do it yourself?

Note: archive.org shows that as of 6/25/2022 the price was $250 lower...

edited to reflect the correct price movement.

Thanks for the update, it does look like the price has gone up. It was $1500 for AP1 without radio upgrade and now it is $1750 as shown on the Infotainment Upgrade page:

Yes that was the point of the post... the prices have gone up - "i knew I shouldn't have waited..."

That said, I'll probably still do it - too many little bugs and glitches that I'm hoping will be addressed by the newer hardware and ability to take on firmware updates.
