In between firmware/software updates, I notice periodic download activity via wifi. It's usually small amounts and always less than 60MB per day. Uploads are typically below 20MB per day but occasionally over 100MB and I would assume that's the car sending clips and info of AP interventions for analysis. Out of curiosity, does anyone know if the AP algorithms are updated in between major software versions? I noticed that for the 3 weeks or so that I was on 2019.12.1.2, the car seemed to get better at recognizing stationary cars at stoplights ahead while on autopilot, but got worse at resuming the set speed after a car ahead turned off the road (sudden surge, followed by deceleration, followed by accelerating to speed). Coincidence? Perception bias? Or are they tweaking the algorithms between major releases?
