I was having issues too. Make sure you sign out of the app, then swipe up to completely close it out. Then, open the app, sign in, and you should be good to go to pair the phone.
Sure it's Tesla's fault? I have heard that Apple's Bluetooth solution on the Apple Watch is not compatible with standard Bluetooth. There are solutions for the watch from 3rd parties, but they use LTE and/or WiFi
I carry a minimalist card holder, for just a few credit cards, drivers license, health insurance card and such. So for me it's no problem to keep my Tesla key card in there too. Oh and any cash goes in my pocket, yes I carry some cash, for tipping servers.

Twice in 4 years the app didn't work, deleting and reinstalling the app fixed it once and the other I had to delete my phone from the car and enter it back in. These are just a few of the issues with driving a software based vehicle.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my new iPhone 14 Pro but no luck. When I put in the email address for my user ID it goes to a blank screen. Very frustrating.
Same issue here. Everything else worked, e.g. Bluetooth paired, hotspot but not the app. Going to try the suggestions above tomorrow. Thanks to all for the tips!
I had a similar issue. I have a Iphone 14 Pro. I found I had to delete the Tesla App and reinstall it to get current version. Then I had to log into it again. Now it is fine.
