Is third annual service required when returning the lease?

Hi,

I have read from a thread that some people flavored the 12000 miles/year lease because they will not have to have 3rd annual service (at 3 years or 37500 miles whichever comes first) done when they return the car with 36000 miles. I think the key is whether Tesla will require you to perform 3rd annual service before the return or they will simply charge you for that when you return? Can forum member with 10000 miles or 12000 miles lease who has returned the car share their experience? Thanks

Don't know about a lease but when trading in my S40 at the 3 year buyback point, I did not need the service.

How much do these service intervals cost?

I was told by delivery specialist that I should get 1 & 2 year service, but not 3rd. I don't know if there's official literature stating this.

I also don't know if I'm penalized if I decide to not get any service
