Assuming the nail isn't going into the sidewall it should hold air. When you pull the nail note the angle, you'll want to follow that hole when you plug it.
Is it just me or do some of these screws and nails magically find the perfect spot to prod? I too have been a victim of these strategically placed screws that warranted replacing the tire. I now have a habit of checking behind my tires before I pull out of parking spaces. Be safe! Watch out for haters, they're out there!
