Jump back to navigation shortcut bug

Hello,

Does anyone else experience the following bug? Is there some way to fix this?

Whenever I press the small navigation box by the speedometer and I have any app up it minimizes them and gives me back the moving map (desired behavior). If I am in the Spotify app or thru Spotify top left icon any of the other music apps. Same behavior does not work.
