Saw this on the thread linking to the Google pictures page. Not into black really, or custom wheels, but this just seems so totally Bad A$$ that I couldn't even sleep last night after seeing this. I didn't see those wheels either on the Tsportline website in 19" either, or I missed it somehow. This could the the official RubberToe mobile. Cause everyone knows, all software engineers are Bad A$$

If I buy a stock M3 with 18" wheels, what is the total estimated cost to achieve this?

Tires?
Wheels?
Calipers?

You can get the calipers painted for $200-$300. Rims and tires maybe $1500-$3500, depending on which exact brand / rim & tires you pick.

Calipers - paint the stock ones red, probably about $400-500 (there is a guy in SoCal that does this)
Wheels - 2-4k depending upon forged vs. cast
Tire - $1200-1600 depending upon type.

It really drives home what a sexy car it is!

So total of $6,000 but the black saves $1,000 on the car order, and subtract another $1,500 for the stock wheels, so the net cost is $3,500.

The nice thing is that the tires are so thin that you probably don't even need them. That will save you about $800 right there.

Dunno. Max out the camber. Put big wing on back. Pseudo 5" can exhaust. Blackout all windows.

And stickers. Lots of them. Include a sticker for Top Ramen and Hello Kitty. Oh and Type-R or Turbo.

Certainly not 'aggressive' in my eyes. 14 unfilleted spokes make it look like you could not afford gold plated wire spoked rims.
It's a 5 lug wheel. Strength and weight favor 5 or 10 spokes.

Have seen people do the other colors for the Model S. The red is (was?) part of the performance package or something.

I've seen yellow and blue. In fact, our ZR1 was blue. Not our car, just the same color:
