Killacycle new world record 7.86 seconds at 169 mph

On KillaCycle's page, it says it has previously done a 7.824 and separately 174mph

It is only a record if you do it twice within a certain time frame and both times have to be within 1% of each other. Then the lower time counts as the record.

National Electric Drag Racing Association - Record Holders

NEDRA has the previous record still listed at 7.89 seconds at 167.99 mph.

Perhaps at they time they were not able to backup their personal best time (7.824) with a second run, so it did not qualify for the official record. I recall seeing that video. But it only counts under certain conditions.

Or if there's a NEDRA official at the event as a witness. When I almost broke your record, no second run would have been necessary (so I was told by the NEDRA official who is also a member of our EV club in DC).
