Reservation 16,503 made 12/27. Just got my Finalize button, no email yet. The car will be coming to Atlanta, GA and parking right next to ElSupreme.

Going to be:
60 kWh, Multi-Coat Red, Grey Leather, Lacewood Trim, Tech Pack, Sound, Air Suspension, Supercharging, Twin Chargers.

The Tesla marketing strategy worked perfectly on me. I originally planned to get the 40 kWh battery/tech package/air suspension/textile seats when I made the reservation to keep the price within reason (the air suspension is a requirement because we have a really steep driveway and the tech package was also on the must-have list since I swore I'd never buy another car without a good built-in nav system). But the more research I did, the more I thought about it, and the more I talked it over with my wife, the more I realized the 85 kWh battery was really what I needed to get the most out of this car. And once in "go big or go home" mode, the sound package and leather seats quickly followed. Now I enter the next phase of waiting . . .

I received my invitation at around 10am today and finalized at 5pm central time. The details: P16615, 60KW, Multi-coat Red, Air and Supercharging with a delivery window between Apr-May. This is much earlier than the original Aug forecast at reservation time.

Got invitation today (Jan 24) at around 5:30pm california time. Number 16,668. Have until Feb. 21 to finalize and lock in the old prices. Will probably wait a couple weeks since I'm not in a rush. Probably red P85, loaded.

Just got the finalize button & email, and finalized my P85! Now waiting for pre-MVPA.
This was one day shy of one month since reserving (12/25 - 1/24).
And check this out: estimated delivery Feb-Mar (orders completed by 2/23)

I'm reservation #16,998, and I also received my invitation today, January 24th, at around 5:30 PM PST. I'm waiting for my test drive next week to be positive, but it will likely be P85, black on black, carbon fiber.

As part of finalizing you sign a preliminary purchase agreement (or as Tesla calls it "Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement -- Pre-Delivery). When you are about to get your car you sign another "final" purchase agreement.

Okay, makes sense. I plan on SC delivery, so I will pay for the MS when I get to the SC and pickup my MS.
