NEW NOT RECALLED Tesla UMC NEMA 10-30 Adapter (This plug is very commonly found in homes that have an electric dryer outlet). You can rest assured this is the non-recalled plug by the white face, part number (1016174-10-C) and date stamp (February, 2017) - Please see the pictures.

My original adapter was recalled and just received this BRAND NEW revised adapter from Tesla.

This replacement UMC NEMA 10-30 Adapter is no longer available for purchase at Tesla so this is a very rare and sought after adapter for the Model S and Model X.

That's not a Tesla Motors, Inc adapter, nor is it approved by Tesla. Tesla advises to never use 3rd party adapters or extension cables and thus was confirmed by my local Tesla Service Center. It's a Fire risk to use anything but Tesla Approved adapters and plugs.

Good luck with the sale, but your window of opportunity might be small. It's likely that Tesla will start selling them again once they finish sending out recalled unit replacements, similar to how the 14-30 and 6-50 just became available for purchase again.
