Leaving car unattended while charging?

Yes - keep an eye on your charging and don’t leave it idle. That’ll cost you - $1/min idle fees.

You don’t want to charge up to 100% at Superchargers if you can help it. Just enough to get to your next target.

Honestly, most if not all my Supercharging sessions are 15 minutes or less. Not much to think about there - enough time for a biobreak, maybe a cup of coffee and I’m all set.

20 k miles, road trips. Superchargers, charge from 10-75% (when range dictates), sometimes I walk away to get a snack, use the restroom, or stay in the car for a power nap.
There is no risk in leaving the car unattended. As dmurphy said, once charging is completed, move to a non-charging spot so you don't incur "idle fees."
