2014 Tesla Model S, 17028393 | IAA-Insurance Auto Auctions
Lets see how good you guys are...
Looks like it is a Model S 60 with 43k miles on it. Was totally wrecked at one point, someone fixed it up nice. I bet Tesla won't activate it, and the person who bought the wreck and fixed it is taking a loss.
Once upon a time it was this car: 2014 TESLA MODEL S
Oh, you guys are toooo good. Great detective work.
look at how smacked up the rear was (wheels weren't even facing straight). I gotta say, it cleaned up very nice to the untrained eye.
Stuff like this you have to look out for when purchasing a salvaged Model S.
Have a crack at this one...

the second one you list had been on auction before... it's totally messed up then and now. what more is there to the story?
Relisted EIGHT times.
The rear is no longer taped shut..
nice... it's all about presentation in this field.
("I want to play a game"...)(Saw)
Car seems to be riding pretty high, also rear seat has been removed at one point, someone will be in for a rude awakening when they find out all the high voltage stuff is gone.
Oh that first one is easy when you look at the last picture--a cat jumped up on the hood and scratched the paint a little, so it had to be totalled...
But only the truly keen eye will be able to spot the flaws on this one...

@ChiGuy - Yeah, dude, that one has a little rim rash on the front right wheel. Buyer beware, going to have to replace that.
Great Heavenly gracious...
Thats been relisted a few times as well.
I call that one "thors hammer"
that INOP DIGITAL DASH notice is a bit concerning, hopefully just a fuse and a reboot required.
Damn. A couple of those cars have the CF trim I'd like. Too bad I can't get it for cheap. Would also be nice to upgrade to the higher resolution instrument cluster screen (or whatever its called).
A few of those cars definitely look repairable. But then again what do I know.
If this is the new nosecone design I'm not sure I like it as well as the old one...
So wait, someone buys this, gets there and says, "wait, I didn't expect it to look like this" and then buggers off?
