Loud crunch sound and fan noise after supercharging

supercharged tonight from 21% to 71% and when I finished I heard a loud plastic crunching sound followed by loud fan noise from the front of the car. Did the battery pack overheat?

Fans are totally normal. Not sure what the "crunch" was though.

I noticed the low flying aircraft sound too, and it continued for about 5 minutes after I started driving too.

Ha ha. Sounds like we had a similar experience ...

The fans running full tilt after and during supercharging are normal.

Supercharged(for the first time!) from 40-90% today, and heard the full-on fan noise...crikey!

Ha. I purchased my car in winter and had never heard the fans kick on while/after supercharging until about a week ago. I thought for sure an airplane was going to fall on top of me until I got out and realized it was coming from my car. It is funny too because it starts slowly so it sounds like it is coming from far away and gets louder.

Just wait until summer when it’s the fan and the air conditioning compressor.
