Lower Subscription Price Coming?

I was suspicious about this news, so I checked my FSD subscription in the Tesla app, and sure enough! I had been paying $199/mo, but the next renewal (May 7) shows up as $99 now. So I got the free month trial (Apr 7-May 7), and now a big price drop. Happy camper here. I feel a whole lot better about paying $99 than $199 for FSD.

Paid EAP vehicle owner here. Previously FSD subscription was offered at $99 per month while it was $199 for non EAP vehicles. Now it is $99 for all. We need same reduction applied to the EAP vehicles and have FSD offered at $49 per month.

Now they need to drop the purchase prices for FSD and EAP.

This seems unlikely. FSD v12 is improving rapidly. Tesla is still shooting for FSD to get good enough to drive robotaxis. Lowering the subscription price now makes sense but lowering the life-of-the-car price does not.
