LR AWD Rear disc rotors and Performance 2 pcs Rear disc rotors are interchangeable?

You can [air Performance rotors with a Base caliper.

You cannot pair Base rotors with a Performance caliper.

The Base rotor hat is ~4 to 5mm thicker than the Performance caliper. Install some spacers.
So the inner depth is the same?
It's only a matter of ET of the Rims
SO if LR AWD rear discs are installed on a PERF the rims will stick out more (due to thicker hat)
AND
if Perf rear discs are installed on a LR AWD the reims will tuke in even more (due to 1mm thick Perf rear rotor)?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Again, you can't install Base rotors on a Performance. But yes, the rims would theoretically stick out more.

Just slap a 5mm spacer on it and call it a day.

What would you gain from this besides saving some weight?

Looks cool?

What dimension is different that makes the rotors interchangeable only one way?

Pros to a grey brake car would be 2.5 pound weight reduction. OEM M3P rotor is probably less expensive than after-market replacements? Or take advantage of the offset difference for tire fitment (move the rear tire inside the fender).

An upgraded rotor from MPP or Paragon will have more "cool" factor! :) Even a drilled/slotted from EBC.

I saw a rear 2PC rotor set for LR AWD (335mm 13 lbs) that's lighter than the rear of a Performance.
Just curious to know if they fit. for sure the rims will stick out 4 or 5mm more (and it's not a bad thing).
