Hi All
In a bit of a pickle. The company I work for recently started to offer EVs under a Salary Sacrifice scheme and told us to go out and get whatever lease deal we can.
A few of us just went straight through the Tesla Business lease which used ALD as the finance provider.
The issue we have is that everyone is unable to get insurance because we don’t have an insurable insteresr according to Aviva/Churchill and one specialist broker. If the owner of the car is ALD, they said the company has to take out the insurance as a business one (no one uses the car for business purposes). How have you guys who have salary sacrificed a Tesla done your insurance? Is there any way of having yourself as the registered keeper and getting “normal” insurance?
I was told Business Insurance is way more expensive!
Thanks.
Our cars are supposed to arrive in a few weeks and we are really stuck.
