Nothing special required for a road trip (or much else, actually). Top up the windshield washer fluid and maybe check your tire pressure by looking at the TPMS numbers. Toss your mobile connector and J1772 adapter in the trunk somewhere. Put your destination in the navigation box, hit the road, stop and charge as directed, and enjoy the ride.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is J1772 adapter and mobile connector
?
That’s the adapter to allow you to plug level 2 EVSEs into the Tesla. It’s the black cylinder shaped object that was prob in the right cubby of the trunk next to the unattached front license plate bracket. You open the charger door, plug the adapter into your car, and the connect the level 2 EVSE to it.

How many miles/how old is your car? Check tire pressure and set it to at least 42psi when tires are cold. Navigate to your destination and the car will direct you to superchargers as needed. Stop as directed, perhaps add a few percent for just-in-case (usually wind) and you should be fine. The car should have come with an adapter to change from J1772 style of plug (non-Tesla standard plug) to the Tesla style. If you have a mobile charger, be sure it is in the car. (If not, consider buying one). When you are doing your last charge before your destination, be sure you end up with enough charge to do something the next day, unless you are staying at a place with overnight charging.
