Ok, it actually worked. I opened the frunk, put the remote right next to the escape light and spammed it. Only took 2 or 3 presses before it was recognised.

Thank you for the help, I never expected that would be what's required to make it work, but hey its working!

looks like these RX-multi garage door remote receivers support homelink

so the equipment I used with the ATA GDO V9 was Ditec Compatible Remote ( RPC410 ) and Ditec Receiver ( RPR100-013 )from remotepro.

The Telsa homelink recognised the remote control and flashed its lights. It also activated the door for a second or so (not from me pressing the remote)

Next, in the learn step i used the study/learn button on the Ditec receiver until the receiver study light flashed.

Unfortunately, activating the garage door through the car homelink doesnt work.

Anyone else had any better luck or suggestions?

These RTX multi garage door receivers avg cost about $10.00
Are the same as

You can use UR mode and have the RTX multi garage door receiver
learn the cars RF transmission directly, no learning a garage door remote

If you have correctly programmed a merlin remote to the merlin reciever and it still doesnt work then its wired incorrectly. If you post a pic of your connections (or PM me and I’ll send you my email) I can the. See if the correct terminals are being used.
The merlin reciever will definately solve your problem once its all installed correctly.
Hi, I would really appreciate your help with this. I have installed the E8003M receiver and it appears to be getting power (lights up when I press the learn button) but it doesn't seem to do anything when I press the corresponding button on the remote. The remote says it's compatible with E945m and E950m model receivers. I've spent hours rewiring and checking everything through. Any advice would be appreciated
