MCU1 FSD owners file a NHTSA complaint!

All MCU1 owners that paid for FSD needs to file a complaint with NHTSA BECAUSE we are not getting updates and as such are not getting the safety recalls required by NHTSA! Tesla states to update to 2023.44.30 or later but we are stuck at 2022.8.10!

Tesla can screw up on FSD but they cant on Safety Recalls!

It is true that Tesla hasn't released an update to resolve the "Autopilot abuse" recall for MCU1 vehicles yet. Tesla has been very clear with NHTSA on this:

At no cost to customers, affected vehicles will receive an over-the-air software remedy, which is expected to begin deploying to certain affected vehicles on or shortly after December 12, 2023, with software version 2023.44.30. Remaining affected vehicles will receive an over-the-air software remedy at a later date.

But there is no specific timeline that NHTSA requires for issues to be resolved. For an issue like this they will likely give the manufacturer years to create and deploy the recall fix. (Tesla is still working through the MCU1 eMMC recalls as of 12/31/2023 they are ~75% complete. Only ~32k more vehicles to go after three years.)
