The Model S was definitely the hit of the Michigan EV Show!
I took a few random snapshots and uploaded them here: http://csh3.smugmug.com/Cars/MichiganEVShow-2013/29875679_WZH2Kd. The gallery is currently public. There were 4 of us displaying our cars at a time. a 5th showed up just as my dad and I were heading out for lunch and took my place. And ohaq was giving rides. So I think there were SIX of us!
I think attendance was pretty good. It was light for a while, but picked up. Still, I think we can help drive attendance for next year.
The panel discussion was good and helped deal with some of the misconceptions and issues of living with an EV. I think the point that sticks with me the most was made by MichiganModelS (Joel) that the biggest issue is infrastructure and that is being addressed by things like the Tesla SuperCharger network. I also think we need a better way to share information about the infrastructure. For example, I live in Ann Arbor and didn't know that this site existed: http://a2ev.powerdash.com/home/. There's a lot more that we can do.
That's the quick version of the day. If I think of any other salient points, I'll let you know.
