Mild corrosion on electricity adaptor.

IMHO, it's best not to put any form of grease on regularly mated/de-mated connectors, primarily as it tends to attract a lot of dirt and dust, which may end up abrading the contacts every time the connector is mated.

As long as you're OK with regularly cleaning the connector then this isn't a problem, but it will end up being one of those jobs that needs to be done fairly regularly.

Rather than something as "solid" as that grease, I'd be inclined to use some contact cleaner spray. This leaves behind a thin residue that protects from corrosion, but has a carrier solvent that tends to wash muck out, so is easier to use regularly to keep things clean. I'd only use this if you find you really need to, as in general, contacts are best left dry. This stuff is one that I've used for years, usually on switches, and seems to do a pretty good job: Action Can ESC Electrical Contact Cleaner 500ml (1487) | CEF
