Model 3 Error Message showing - Vehicle will consume more energy when idle

Has anyone encountered this error message and been able to reset it.
Following some tinkering I managed to invoke this and it won't go away.
Also my car no longer sleeps - TeslaFi reports umpteen sleep attempts otherwise only idling?

It drives and charges perfectly but by not sleeping its draining the battery.

Anyone got any remedies?

Is it worth asking what 'tinkering' you were doing that you think caused this? Maybe something for us to avoid...

It sounds like the 12V is not working well but why is another issue. You need an expert to track down the cause. It could be a bad 12V battery which a replacement would fix the problem or it could be a bad DC-to-DC converter which you might need to replace it or it could be something else?

First rule of thumb, never tinker in your tesla!

Had same issue, needed both power converter and 12v replaced as it actually led to the car not starting throwing every error under the hood (most likely because components could not get power) and needed to be towed away. In fact when they arrived to tow it the following day, the 12v had completely died by then!
