MO doesn't work like that. You only pay property taxes for any vehicles owned on Jan 1 of the current year. You'll still pay sales tax when you purchase it (when you license it).

That is what I said... If I take delivery in December then I have report the car on Jan 1st (1 month's use).

If I push it and wait until after Jan 1, then I don't report it until Jan 1, 2023...

So yesterday my EDD saw its first change since ordering.

Can't say it was unexpected but I am a bit disappointed that the window grew. I just want it by the end of the year, though, and still feel confident that will happen.

I called Tesla and they said my car should be arriving around 11/3

They wouldn’t give me a VIN number still tho.

I just did the "view page source" trick to locate the VIN. Previously, it would display "null" where the vin would be...now it shows "hidden". Maybe some progress?

New EDD 12/07-12/31, will definitely defer to take delivery in 2022 if it stays in December.

My EDD still has not changed from its original estimate. I’m going to test drive a 3 again on wednesday (hoping they also have an X and S I can try) and will see if anyone there can see something I can’t, but not hopeful in that regard. At least I can pretend for 45 mins or so that the car is my own!

Ctrl+F to search then "VIN" It'll bring up about 103 results, it's the bottom one.

Does anybody thats gotten a tesla very recently or about to get one know if it's officially a 2022 model? I know that you can tell by the VIN but i wasn't sure if Tesla is sending them out yet.
