Could be, though I was still showing an EDD before that was filled in. Whatever, not a big deal. I don't desperately need a new car and my loan approval is good for 90 days. If the delay makes it more likely I get the Ryzen system, I'm cool with that.If you don't put in your financial tasks, you're not really in line. I ordered mine on 8/30, put in financial info on 11/29, which I believe is the actual date the real wait started. Still waiting that is.
Planning to pay by Cashier Check. Can someone please let me know whether the name at the check should be 'Tesla Inc.' or Tesla Motor Inc.'?
What are the accepted methods of payment? - Before driving off with your new Tesla, we require that the balance be paid in full, either personally or by way of guarantee from a financing institution. Confirm your method of payment with your Tesla representative prior to Delivery Day. In some states, payment must be received before delivery and cannot be accepted at time of pick-up.
Final payment is accepted via:
* Electronic check (direct debit) in your Tesla Account
* Wire transfer
* Certified check at time of pick-up, with your Reference Number (RN) and name in the memo line
They had me put Tesla INC. on the check along with my original order number, When you give them the check take a picture of it with the SA holding it just in case something happens to itPlanning to pay by Cashier Check. Can someone please let me know whether the name at the check should be 'Tesla Inc.' or Tesla Motor Inc.'?
Yep. When I called they said it was due to the 90 day hold rule eventhough it was approved by my SA manager out to Apr. No biggie and happy to take the delivery sooner.Your hold was indeed for an extended time. Is that the reason Tesla cancelled it automatically on Jan 13?
I don’t know what Carvana is smoking, but they offered me $41k for my 2021 M3SR+ when Vroom offered $48.1k.I sold to Carvana and it was a smooth experience from offer to payment, if that helps.
What about Li-ion battery?Just to debunk the 1/11 date:
M3LR has a build date of 1/13 (today), no Ryzen.
They just offered me 38 for my 2021 White SR+ with 8K mi on it. I'm in MA, it must be different per region? Vroom offered 45.I don’t know what Carvana is smoking, but they offered me $41k for my 2021 M3SR+ when Vroom offered $48.1k.
Glad to see that a red one is about to be deliveredI've been lurking here for a little while, but thought I'd post info from my Journey for my wife's M3LR.

Still waiting
My MXLR isn't expected until October even though I ordered it before my wife's. She never lets me live that down.
Have you tried GiveMeTheVIN.comI don’t know what Carvana is smoking, but they offered me $41k for my 2021 M3SR+ when Vroom offered $48.1k.
I think it is all regional. In my case Vroom was the highest, followed by Carvana and the lowest was GiveMeTheVIN. I would get quotes from all and compare.Have you tried GiveMeTheVIN.com
They gave the highest. Higher than Carmax, Carvana and Vroom.
Totally agree. CarBuyerUSA.com was pretty close to GMTVin.I think it is all regional. In my case Vroom was the highest, followed by Carvana and the lowest was GiveMeTheVIN. I would get quotes from all and compare.
They are in deed smoking some high quality stuff my friend, they offered me 36k for my 2021 M3 SR+ when Vroom offered 47k. They must have boat load of Teslas in inventory, they're basically telling us, we don't need your car now, or sell it to me at a huge discount.I don’t know what Carvana is smoking, but they offered me $41k for my 2021 M3SR+ when Vroom offered $48.1k.
