Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Well friends, I must bid you adieu. With a half day of school for my almost 12 year old, we drove over to Tesla to test drive the 3 and Y back to back. Unexpectedly, I prefer the Y and changed my order accordingly. I know it's unfair that I got my VIN in 8 hours for the 3 when so many of you waited so long. Now would you believe, and this is just nuts, got a VIN for the Y in 90 minutes, WTF? See you in the Y order thread.

You’re dead to us.
(Jk - ENJOY!)

If anyone in the PNW is interested in a demo car, Tesla’s existing stock shows a TON of 2021 LR and SR+ demos in Portland and Seattle. They just appeared in the last hour. The LRs all have FSD or I’d think seriously about it.
Funny, I just checked earlier, and didn't see them. Are you using ev-tsla.com by chance? Not sure of a better site to check.

I'm in same boat as you - I'd seriously consider, if it weren't for the FSD inclusion.

Does Tesla still charge destination and doc fees on a demo vehicle? What about transport fees? I didn't see any listed for the demo vehicles that popped-up in Southern California for example.

No, I see them on Tesla’s site under existing inventory. I searched from 97204, and show five demos currently in PDX and SEA.

I’ve wondered the same thing about fees.

Here is a little secret your SA can remove the FSD when you go to match with existing inventory.

I wasn’t able to be home for delivery. They dropped the car off in my driveway. I just accepted delivery from “Manage” and then the Tesla app refreshed and I could see the car. On my home camera I could see my neighbors walking up to my house to go see it. Flashed the lights and honked the horn when they were looking. I can’t see anything wrong with the car, paint looks great, body alignment is perfect. I’m very happy.
My VIN is 36 more than you, same batch but headed to PA. Hope that's a good sign that we got a solid batch of cars!

DMV - NoVA
Ordered 1/16 MSM 19"

My account was actually blank for a date until 2 weeks ago where it changed to say 7-11 weeks from order date.
That soon turned into the range for last week of March, but my VIN was assigned Saturday and now it's moved up to 3/15 - 3/21.
