Don't western portions of the USA get their orders later compared to the east coast? That way Tesla can deliver furthest out first and then fill a bunch of closer deliveries right before the quarter ends to maximize sales numbers?

It looks like their assignment process is so all over the place. Someone reportedly got their VIN today that is like a county over from me and I ordered well over a week earlier with the same configuration.

My EDD went this morning from 9/5-25 to 8/29-9/18!!!
I did have an 8/26-9/14 EDD last week, so I'm trying to contain my excitement.
It's really cool to see all the June orders getting VINs. Hope you all get yours soon and July starts getting some love
P.S. Against my better judgement, I added a lightning-summoning squirrel to my profile yesterday. So I guess it did do its thing?!?!

I went with the Tesla ones but there are plenty of alternative/cheaper versions with great reviews on Amazon.
I'm just a wh0r3 for things OEM.

There is a delay on the tesla-info page, sometimes 5+ mins. If you are lucky, you might be the first and can grab it, but it is usually gone by the time you get to it. I live in the Bay Area and searching now, manually clicking refresh, just looking for a different match than that one.
Got a vin. Ordered 7/6 MSM black interior LR aero no FSD. My EDD this morning was 8/25-9/2 and now it says November but with a vin. I did get the Vision disclaimer. Itās after hours so was going to call tomorrow to see what that means

Do you need to upload proof of insurance? Can't do that until I have a VIN so I assume I'm good to go?
I uploaded insurance after I got my VIN, should not impact your position in the queue.
Same order and same day, Iāve got an 8/28-9/17 window. Picking up at Highland Park
Iām in Maryland so Rockville MD for me. Must have been on a similar truck lol
